Cross-Day Attendance Tutorial

Clearing up confusion on the correct way to record attendance for employees working night shifts

Written by Luna

Case Study:

Employee H is scheduled for a night shift on May 4, 2026, from 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM on May 5 (WIB).

How should the check-in and check-out be recorded?

Explanation:

  1. Open the Hadirr app on May 4, 2026. Then tap Clock In > check the GPS Status > click the camera icon > make sure the notification “Clock In Successful” appears. This notification indicates that the employee has successfully recorded their attendance correctly.

  2. The next day (May 5, 2026), after the employee finishes work, they can record their check-out by following these steps:

    • Tap Clock In

    • Select “Real Time”

    • Check the GPS Status and tap the camera icon

    • Make sure the notification “Clock Out Successful” appears

Conclusion:

Based on the steps above, even though the check-out is recorded on May 5, 2026, it will still be stored as the check-out for May 4, 2026.

Important!

Hadirr can be used to record daily attendance within a 24-hour period. If employees need to perform cross-day attendance (as in the case above), please follow the steps in this tutorial.
